Love, love, love getting photos in my inbox!

This morning I opened an email from Melissa May to find more photos of B from her shoot with Meghan Savage... love them!  The Grant Humphrey's Museum was the perfect backdrop for this adorable shoot.  Melissa made all of the hair accessories you see in this shoot.  At her fashion show at Mod Livin' we purchased a feather headband that I get numerous compliments on each time I wear it (I'll get B or J to model it for y'all).  Which reminds me... I'm not sure I posted the Mod Livin' show... might have to look back and check that out.  Melissa has such an amazing style, she tried to get on Project Runway last year, but it was a no go... instead Mondo made it from Denver.  Speaking of Mondo, have you seen his NEW dress????  Definitely picking one of those up!

An incredible shoot with Kristen Hatgi and Mark Sink

The girls both truly enjoyed learning the process of this old photography.  Not to mention how much I enjoyed watching the process.  Completely different from a traditional photo shoot!  Here are some photos from the accordion type cameras:

They also took a few photos with a traditional camera... loved those results as well:

Our first ticket while shooting

Mortified!  We were up in the rocks of Roxbourough State Park with photographer, Jim Mullen from Chicago when we heard the loud voice of a park ranger say, 'GET BACK ON THE TRAIL'... 'STAY ON THE TRAIL'.  Coming off the trail, she stopped us and made us follow her back to our cars.  At that time, she demanded all of our photo id's and auto registrations.  I explained that J and B were my daughters and didn't have their id's... I don't think she believed me!  We got off with a $52.50 ticket for being in the park without a state pass (I would have bought one if someone had been at the window!).   She let us off for the extra $50 per person for being off trail, but she was quite a 'B' about it.

Jim showed us several photos from what we were able to take and the photos were AMAZING... cannot wait to see what comes out of this strange day!

Here are a few of the photos!

The Melissa May Fashion Show

This designer has such a fun way of looking at clothing!  I love all of her lines and have enjoyed working with her - she's fun, quirky and adorable!  This show was a challenge for her to create a show based on Mod Livin's furniture.  She decided on chairs and as you can see from the show all of the clothes had designs used for furniture in them - leather fabric, chair nails... very fun!  Both J and B were in the show, but B's dress was my absolute favorite!  I'm really not a fan of the no makeup, makeup look, but it does show off the clothes!

Super Chill Photo Shoot Downtown Denver

J had her first freezing experience in a photo shoot!  Had to be there at 6am and the weather was marked at 31 degrees, by the time we started shooting it was 32 degrees, wind blowing... freezing!  She was such a trooper and the shots were awesome!
